BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A sweet holiday tradition has families coming back year after year.

The Gingerbread House Party Brunch features a variety of dishes and cocktails while attendees decorate gingerbread houses.

"This is our annual gingerbread house party. We've been doing this for about 20 years now, I want to say, maybe even longer," said Ashley Giron Escobar.

Shortly after the restaurant closes after Thanksgiving, 75 Chestnut and Beacon Hill go right into holiday mode, which includes lots of gingerbread.

"It started off as like just a very small, small operation, and over the years it's quickly grown into what we're known for. It's one of our signature events," Escobar said.

People start booking their time slots in July to attend the event. This year marks Escobar's 10th season, and she's gotten to know families that come in year after year.

"There's actually one girl who's been coming in, I think, for 10 years. Her picture's in the back as well. She's been decorating her gingerbread houses since she could barely walk, so it's just, it's been really fun, and families will come back just for this event."
