BOSTON – (WBZ NewsRadio) — Longtime Boston Globe sports columnist Dan Shaughnessy is in recovery after undergoing a recent operation for open heart surgery.
According to the Globe, “Shaughnessy is resting and healing at home, and would like readers to know he will respond to emails and those who have reached out to him when he is able to return to work. He also expressed great appreciation for his care team at Brigham & Women’s Hospital.”
It is not known as to when Shaugnessy will be able to return to work but that the Globe will keep readers updated.
