ROXBURY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Google Maps has been updated to show the name change of Roxbury's Dudley Square to Nubian Square.
The historically black neighborhood's name was changed on Dec. 19 after years of advocacy to better reflect the area's demographic.
Searching for Dudley Square on Google Maps can still yield the MBTA bus station, which has yet to be renamed.
