NEEDHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley will appear at two campaign events in Needham Saturday ahead of this Tuesday's Massachusetts primary.

The former South Carolina governor and former United Nations ambassador will headline a big ticket fundraiser co-hosted by New Balance owner and chairman Jim Davis, Baker Administration alum Mike Heffernan, former MassGOP chair Jennifer Nassour, Rep. Hannah Kane, and Ozzie Palomo.

The fundraiser runs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at a location that will be disclosed to guests before it begins. Tickets start at $1,000 to attend and $3,300 to co-host.

Following the fundraiser, Haley is scheduled for a rally at the Sheraton Needham Hotel at 8 p.m. The rally is open to the public.

Haley's visit to the Bay State is her latest stop on the campaign trail ahead of Super Tuesday, when Massachusetts, 14 other states, and American Samoa hold their presidential primaries and caucuses. Haley made appearances earlier this week in Virginia, Washington D.C., and Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina.

Former President Donald Trump remains the frontrunner in the Republican primary race with 152 delegates so far. Haley currently trails Trump with 24 delegates. A candidate needs 1,215 delegates to win the nomination.
