Groveland Police Asking For Public's Help To ID Theft Suspect

GROVELAND, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Groveland Police Department is seeking the public's help to identify a suspect in a theft that occurred over the weekend, said Chief Jeffrey Gillen.

On Saturday, May 15, at about 6:40 P.M., a male suspect was caught on surveillance video allegedly stealing auto parts from a local body shop.

Police responded to the shop after items which included used tires were discovered to be missing from outside the business.

Police said, the items were taken while the business was closed. The suspect is believed to have been driving a Honda CRV.

Anyone with information on the suspect's identity is asked to call Groveland Police at 978-521-1212. Police added, all tips can be provided anonymously.

The incident is still under investigation.
