PLYMOUTH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Tonight is the first night of Hanukkah, and with all the strife many Jews around the world are experiencing, the holiday holds special significance this year.
Noam of Plymouth is a member of the Congregation Beth Jacob, one of the oldest synagogues in Massachusetts.
He and his brother Brian regularly attend services at the synagogue.
Noam talked about the war in the middle east and the rising cases of antisemitism across the country. "I think the way that we deal with this is to lift people up, show them compassion, show them love," he said.
