BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) – A haunted pizza tour is combining Boston’s haunted history with some of the North End’s best slices.

Martin Elliot is the founder of Boston Pizza Tours. The company offers everything from North End and private tours to holiday specials. During the month of October, Elliot said the tours take a spooky turn.

“The North End is Boston’s oldest neighborhood first settled in 1630,” he explained. “I’ve heard a lot of great ghost stories.”

The tour hits the neighborhood’s spookiest sites with breaks for pizza in between. Pizzerias on the tour can rotate from day to day and feature some of the best slices in the country.

The tour starts in the basement of the Old North Church where over 1,100 bodies are buried. It also explores Boston's second oldest burying ground, the connection to the Salem Witch Trials and Boston's Murder District.
