SALEM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Salem Superior Court jury convicted a Merrimac man Thursday of first-degree murder.
21-year-old Kaiden Henderson was found guilty of stabbing a Haverhill man to death during an armed robbery back in November 2020, according to a press release from the office of Essex County District Attorney Paul Tucker.
A second defendant 28-year-old Devaughn Johnson of Haverhill was found guilty of accessory after the fact (armed robbery) but was acquitted of being an accessory after the fact (murder).
Henderson is facing a mandatory sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Johnson is facing seven years.
Judge Thomas Drechsler set sentencing for May 8th.
