BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — On Monday, Governor Maura Healey announced a new tourism initiative called “Made Possible”, designed to promote Massachusetts as an ideal place to travel to and live.

In the summer of 2023, Healey’s office led a “Massachusetts For Us All” campaign, which promoted Massachusetts as a welcoming and safe place for all. The campaign specifically focused on those who identify as a part of the LGBTQIA + community.

“Our state is full of go-getters and change-makers, each with an amazing story to tell and invaluable contributions to make in our diverse communities,” said Governor Healey. “Everyone is welcome here, and we proudly showcase this on a global scale.”

The campaign also plans to highlight historical and cultural destinations across Massachusetts including those in Boston, the Berkshires, and Provincetown.

Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll also expressed her approval for the campaign.

“Through Made Possible, visitors can find themselves in every corner of Massachusetts – in our small businesses, downtown areas, and cultural centers. Through this new campaign, we want residents and visitors to feel connected to our state’s rich heritage and legacy of possibility.”

The campaign is expected to grow and increase over the next year, targeting domestic travelers through a variety of media channels including television, radio, digital, print and billboards to target consumers outside of Massachusetts.
