Heres What To Expect At Fenway Park's Opening Day 2019

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Here’s what you need to know about the Red Sox first home game against The Blue Jays of Toronto at Fenway Park on Tuesday.

While the first pitch is set for 2:05 p.m., fans have been asked to be in their seats by 12:45 p.m. as the team will begin a pre-game presentation to the 2018 World Champions and introduce the lineup.

During the pre-game, members of the 2018 Red Sox will receive championship rings from their World Series win, and the latest championship banner will be raised.

Keith Lockhart will lead the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and Tanglewood Festival Chorus as they perform National anthems for both the U.S. and Canada.

After the ceremonial first pitch, four F-16 jets from the Massachusetts Air National Guard will fly over the park.

During the seventh inning, Michelle Brooks Thompson will sing “God Bless America."

Brooks Thompson, a Springfield, Massachusetts native, sang the same song during Game One of the 2018 World Series.

So What’s On The Menu?

While Fenway Franks, Peanuts and Cracker Jacks are a staple to any ballgame, today’s home opener is kicking off new food items from concessions stand.

Here’s what to be on the lookout this season should anyone get hungry according to Aramark, the food and beverage vendor at the park.

The Banana Splitter

Sam Adams Beer Battered Fried Onion

The Do Damage Burger

It’s described as an 8 oz of beef topped with cheese, lettuce, and lobster tossed in King’s Hawaiian Lava Sauce.

Buffalo Chicken Topped Tater Tots

King’s Hawaiian Pulled Pork Sandwich

Breakfast Burger

It looks like two Eggos waffles, fried egg, and breakfast sausage with a fruit jam.
