Hit And Run In Manchester, NH Leaves Man Injured

MANCHESTER, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A man was seriously injured after a hit-and-run accident on Wednesday.

Manchester Police said that around 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, they received a report of an accident involving a car and a bicycle.

Officials arrived at the scene near Central St. and Union St. to find a 71-year-old man lying on the pavement.

He was taken to the hospital to treat a serious head injury.

Witnesses told the police they saw a black vehicle collide with the bicycle at the intersection. Reports described the car as a newer model of a black Nissan Rogue with veteran's plates.

After hitting the bicycle, the car did not stop and continued to drive east on Central St.
