Holyoke Murder Suspect Added To Massachusetts State Police Wanted List

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Massachusetts State Police have added a suspect wanted for a December murder in Holyoke to its Most Wanted list Thursday.

The Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section is seeking 21-year-old Evdyele Oneil Pabon Flores for the Dec. 7, 2022 homicide of 49-year-old Luis Ramos.

Officials said at approximately 8:20 that night, Holyoke Police responded to a report of shots fired at the intersection of Pine and Sargeant streets. Upon arrival officers found two unoccupied vehicles that appeared to have been in a collision, as well as multiple spent shell casings.

Police searched the area and found a man lying face down in a nearby backyard with a gunshot wound to the stomach. The victim, identified as Ramos, was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

An investigation by the Hampden County State Police Detective Unit and Holyoke Police Detectives identified Pabon Flores, an occupant of one of the vehicles, as the suspected gunman. According to police, Pabon Flores fired more than 10 rounds at Ramos, who was in the second vehicle.

Authorities issued an arrest warrant charging Pabon Flores with murder. He remains at large and is believed to actively attempting to evade capture.

Pabon Flores is described as 5'7" and approximately 150 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of the words “As I walk through the Valley” on his left forearm and of the word “Oleanni” on his left ear. He has used the aliases Evdyelle Flores and Abdyle Pabon.

Police said Pabon Flores has ties throughout the greater Springfield area and should be considered armed and dangerous.
