Horseback Rescue Saves Injured Sudbury Biker

SUDBURY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police say a person on horseback saved a badly-injured biker in Sudbury on Monday.

Sudbury Police said the biker was severely injured on a trail in the Hop Brook Marsh Conservation area. The horseback rider met first responders and led them down the trails to the place where the biker crashed.

Police called the rider "instrumental" in quickly helping to find the biker in the 80-acre area of wetlands.

The biker was taken out of the woods and had to be flown to a local hospital. There are no updates so far on their condition.
