How Much Snow Did Greater Boston See On Monday, Jan. 20?

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — After the much anticipated winter storm, a blanket of snow covered Boston Monday morning, and crews were out clearing sidewalks and roads throughout the city overnight.

According to the National Weather Service, around 5 inches of snow fell overnight in Boston. Western and central Mass. also got plenty of powder action, with areas like Ashfield seeing around 8 inches of snow.

Here are the snow totals for the Greater Boston area Monday:

Ashfield: 8.0 in

Tewksbury: 6.1 in

Haverhill: 6.0 in

Weymouth: 5.9 in

Worcester: 5.8 in

Boston: 5.0 in

Gloucester: 5.0 in

Wakefield: 4.8 in

Foxborough: 4.5 in

Franklin: 4.5 in

Brockton: 4.5 in

Taunton: 4.1 in

Lynn: 4.0 in

Salem: 3.8 in

Chelsea: 3.3 in
