FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The New England Patriots have a sporty new neighbor in Foxborough.
Eleveno Pickleball celebrated the grand opening of its new indoor pickleball facility at Patriot Place Friday.
Eleveno CEO Jodi Cullity cut the ribbon on the 40,000-square-foot venue, which includes nine pickleball courts, a center court bar and restaurant, and another restaurant set to open in the spring.
"I’m emotional, I’m ecstatic, but more importantly, I’m excited," Cullity said. "I’m ready to celebrate and have fun."
The Wrentham native's only concern is capacity.
"We are sold out, booked out, every single hour since we’ve opened, so it’s making sure we have enough courts and enough food and drinks for everyone that wants to come celebrate," Cullity told WBZ NewsRadio.

Retired Boston Bruins star Zdeno Chara attended the grand opening to hit the ceremonial first serve. Patriots cheerleaders, investors, Cullity's young nieces, and a few hundred others were also among the guests.
"Every morning I wake up and say, I get to live my dream," Cullity told the crowd.
Eleveno Pickleball is located at 340 Patriot Pl. It is open daily from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 7 a.m. until midnight Friday and Saturday.
