BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Authorities are investigating after a man in his 20s was killed in a hit-and-run incident early Sunday morning in Stoughton.
According to Norfolk County District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey’s office, police responded to the intersection of Route 24 and Route 139 at around 1:50 a.m. Sunday, where the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials said the victim was driving a moped or motorized scooter, when he was struck by another vehicle, which then fled the scene.
State and local police are investigating the incident. The victim's name has not yet been released.
