Momoa’s new Meili Vodka is a brand of liquor that he cofounded with his “Game of Thrones” costar Blaine Halvorson.
WBZ NewsRadio spoke to several people outside the store who were there just to get a glimpse of the star.
“He’s funny, he’s handsome, he’s sexy,” one fan gushed.
“We have time today so, let’s go meet Aquaman!” another added.
A large crowd gathered around the shopping plaza, with a line that spanned the length of eight stores.
Local resident Laurel waited an hour and a half to see Momoa and did not let that damper her mood.
“Nobody really believed me when I [told my friends] that Aquaman was going to be at the Danvers Market Basket it’s so random!” Laurel said.
This isn’t the first time that Bostonians have been delighted with a liquor promotion by Hollywood stars. Last year, “Breaking Bad” stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul came through Boston to promote their Dos Hombres mezcal brand.
