BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) A new JetBlue plane, unveiled at Logan Airport Monday morning, has shed its normal blue and white for some orange and pink.

The Dunkin’ branded aircraft, called “Brewing Altitude,” is the result of a years-long partnership between the coffee company and JetBlue. Since 2011, Dunkin’ has been the airline’s exclusive coffee provider.

“We love bringing Dunkin’ coffee around our entire system. North America, Central, South America. I think now that we have the airplane, it’s gonna be doing the same thing,” said Marty St. George, president of JetBlue.

The plane doesn’t exactly hide in plain sight. St. George said the paint job on the plane was finished Friday and it’s been hard to keep the secret until now.

“We didn’t tell anybody we were doing this. Of course, I was forced to deny it …. I think the crew is new and they’re really, really excited about it,” St. George said.

The plane left Logan on Monday to Fort Myers, and will continue to fly on JetBlue routes. Passengers on the Monday morning flight were treated to free coffee, donuts and Dunkin’ travel pillows.

“Can’t wait to see this thing in the air. If you don’t know, the underside is painted as well. Hopefully [people will] see this thing going through the drive-thru, ordering some meal deals,” said Scott Murphy, president of Dunkin’.

JetBlue and Dunkin’ are also offering rewards for some TrueBlue members and Dunkin’ rewards members who fly on the plane from May 19 to Sept. 1.
