BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum is "temporarily closed until further notice," according to a message on the library's website.

According to CBS News Boston, the closure is because of an executive order from the Trump Administration to cut federal jobs and limit spending.

Jack Schlossberg, JFK's grandson, wrote in a post on Instagram that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) "SHUT DOWN the JFK LIBRARY," and that the library was instructed to "fire probationary staff effective immediately and until further notice."

"STEALING HISTORY from the PEOPLE — our government is using PROPAGANDA TO CHANGE THE PAST," he wrote.
