BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The 42nd annual Jimmy Fund Scooper Bowl Will take over Boston City Hall Plaza from June 3-5, the foundation announced Wednesday.
The all-you-eat ice cream festival features over a dozen different ice cream brands to try, along with live entertainment and games.
All proceeds go to support research and adult and pediatric care at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
The annual event has been going on since 1983 and has raised over $7.5 million to date, according to the foundation.
Ice cream brands participating this year include Ben & Jerry’s, Friendly’s, Häägen-Dazs, Holy Cow Ice, Hood, and Tillamook.
The festival will also include a portion for those over the age of 21 on the night of June 5. There, Adults can get unlimited ice cream and two drinks tickets for beer and wine.
General tickets are available for $15, while tickets for the adult-only event are $35.
