BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Biden Administration Climate Envoy John Kerry found himself in a Twitter flap after being spotted with his mask off on an American Airlines flight on Wednesday.
In a widely-circulated picture, Kerry appears to be reading a book with his mask dangling around one ear.
Many social media users called Kerry hypocritical for not wearing a mask on the flight, and the photo earned him the condemnation of several right-wing commentators.
Kerry hit back in a tweet Wednesday night, saying that "If I dropped my mask to one ear on a flight, it was momentary," calling the Twitter storm around the photos "Malarkey."
