BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — As the world’s top figure skaters prepare to battle it out on the ice, fans get to enjoy a new flavor of ice cream in Greater Boston.
Boston is set to host the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2025 at TD Garden at the end of March. It will be the first time the competition has come to Boston since 2016 and features figure skaters from 50 countries.
In honor of the occasion, the Skating Club of Boston has partnered with J.P. Licks to create an exclusive ice cream flavor for the competition. It’s called “The World’s Swirl,” featuring a blue cake batter ice cream with marshmallow swirls mixed in.
