Julian Edelman Recruits The Boston Celtics To Join His "Stay Tom" Campaign

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman is hard at work with his "Stay Tom" campaign. It appears the Super Bowl XLIII MVP showed up to the TD Garden Friday afternoon and placed one of his custom shirts in each one of the Celtics locker stalls for the team to wear during warm-ups ahead of their game against the Utah Jazz.

Edelman has been ramping up his efforts to keep Brady in New England all week. Starting with the two sitting court-side at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse last weekend, with the receiver yelling at ESPN camera's "he's staying, he's staying." The release of the shirt soon followed, which even drew the attention of Brady himself.

Fan video from that Syracuse game showed the pair face-timing with Tennessee Titans Head Coach Mike Vrabel, which sent social media into a frenzy wondering what they were talking about. We got the answer on Friday as Vrabel went on NFL Network's "Good Morning Football" where he says that he and Tom are really good friends, and just because Brady's contract is expiring in the coming days isn't going to change how they communicate.
