FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Kenny Chesney is calling Gillette Stadium home this weekend.
The country superstar performs his first-ever three-night stint in Foxborough on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The concerts not only are Chesney's venue-record 22nd, 23rd, and 24th performances at Gillette, but also serve as the final stop on his Sun Goes Down 2024 Tour.

Despite dealing with congested traffic and plenty of street closures and restrictions, fans got the party started Friday with the weekend's first round of tailgating.
"We got some steak tips, we got some burgers, we got chicken, we’re all set," Scott Rudman of Oxford said while manning the grill. "As long as we’re with friends, tailgating, you can’t go wrong."
A group of women from towns across the South Shore brought a "snacklebox," a tacklebox filled with an assortment of snacks.
"Food first, and then the artists, and maybe a little bit of cocktails in-between," one woman told WBZ NewsRadio.
Dave from Springfield had no problem admitting why he was attending a Kenny Chesney show: "He's my man crush."
"He’s always had this obsession about him for some reason," his wife Laurie laughed.
Meanwhile, Allison traveled from Woodstock, Connecticut for the music, food, and good vibes. She has been to half a dozen Chesney concerts and loves when he plays Gillette.
"It’s a bigger venue," Allison explained. "You get to play your music, you get to tailgate. You’re, like, already at the concert before it’s started."
