CARVER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) —A long-running Renaissance festival in Carver is getting ready to open this weekend at a new location down the street.
King Richard’s Faire has a reimagined look ready for all kings and queens interested in attending. A ribbon-cutting took place on Thursday for the new location at the Edaville Entertainment Venue.
As the fair enters its 44th season, many are looking forward to the festivities, like Rob from Wareham, who uses the event to spend time with his brother from out of town.
“We use it as like a family reunion type thing,” said Rob. “We have fun and we enjoy it.”
King Richard’s Faire is open Aug. 30th to Oct. 19th, and tickets can be purchased on their website here.
