KINGSTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Mass. chef, World Bacon Champion and Bobby Flay foe has landed a role in the Hallmark Channel's newest film.

Out Feb. 19, "A Taste of Love" features a few lines from Stephen Coe, owner of Early Bird restaurant in Kingston, Mass.

Coe is best known for competing in the Food Network's "Chopped: Beat Bobby Flay" in 2020.

Before that, he graduated from Johnson & Wales University's culinary arts program and worked in restaurants and food trucks all around Mass.

"I'm a hustler, a natural-born hustler," Coe told WBZ NewsRadio's Suzanne Sausville. "Cooking happens to be the fun path to get there."

"A Taste of Love" stars Erin Cahill ("Power Rangers: Time Force"), Jesse Kove ("Cobra Kai") and Martin Kove ("The Karate Kid").

Coe portrays himself.
