BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — There's so much drama surrounding the Celtics lately.
Kyrie Irving's ticked off, media figures like ESPN's Stephen A. Smith are irritated, and C's fans probably weren't happy when Irving missed the would-be game-winner last night in Milwaukee.
But, want a laugh?
After Celts president of basketball operations Danny Ainge recently remarked he still believes Irving will re-sign as a free agent this summer, and referred to their pact as an "engagement," someone on the wedding planning website The Knot created a Save the Date for July 1, 2019—the first day of free agency.
Their "how we met" story's included, Irving's best man is LeBron James, and Ainge's is Pelicans star Anthony Davis—a player Boston very much hopes to acquire.
Seems a little rocky right now but, don't worry, there's no registry.
