WATERTOWN Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — If you haven't finished your gift shopping by the last weekend before Christmas, this might be where the holiday stress kicks in.
Maureen from Watertown was doing some last-minute shopping at Target, but she told WBZ NewsRadio it's not that stressful for her.
"I always wait until the last weekend before Christmas," she said. "It's tradition, you know? Don't most people?!"
Even as she crossed the chaotic Target parking lot, with bags hanging from every inch of her forearms, Maureen said she considers it her victory lap since she's finally checked off all the boxes on her shopping list.
"I've just got to wrap this one last thing, and I'm done."
Jane from Cambridge also gets to relax after this weekend, and she even got to knock out the remainder of her holiday shopping at the ATM.
"We've got two kids, and they just want a little cash," she said.
