BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A forecasted nor'easter, projected to hit Sunday, Feb. 1, has trended further offshore, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
The heaviest impacts are expected along the South Coast, Cape, and Islands. Nantucket may see 6-8 inches of snow, while the Cape and Martha’s Vineyard may get anywhere from 2-6 inches, according to NWS.
Temperatures are expected to stay frigid this weekend in the Boston area, with lows between -5 and -10 degrees in some areas Friday night, according to AccuWeather.
A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect from 7 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. on Saturday.
