BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) —  A Law & Order fan experience opened in Boston on Friday, celebrating the show’s 24th season premiere.

The Law & Order Station: Fan Experience is free and only open for two days, offering an immersive look back through the three decades of the show and an first-look into the new season.

For Liam, he planned his visit to Boston from Australia around this special event. “When we put our agenda together, we knew this was going to be on [it], so [we planned] our trip around it to make it work.”

The pop-up features a New York City subway ticket station, a virtual photo booth, and an exclusive merchandise store. At the end of the experience, fans can enjoy free coffee and special themed donuts provided by Kane’s Donuts to cap it all off.

Olivia said she is a “life-long” Law & Order “girly” who just had to be there to see it. “I got my donut, got my sweatshirt, I’m satisfied,” she added.

Though reservations are already sold out, fans like David and his daughter from New York still got a chance to experience it after waiting in the stand-by line.

“So, we were just walking around Quincy Market, and my daughter and I are huge Law & Order fans,” David said. “… and we were like ‘yeah, we got to go in and check it out.’”

Law & Order Season 24 premiered Thursday, Oct. 3, and The Law & Order Station: Fan Experience is located at 4 S Market St. until Saturday, Oct 5.
