LAWRENCE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Essex District Attorney's Office said in a statement on Monday that Lawrence Police officers responded to an emergency call on Diamond Street early in the morning, where arriving officials found a 30-year-old woman dead from multiple apparent stab wounds.
Police say a 39-year-old man also suffered stab wounds and was transported to Lawrence General Hospital where he remains hospitalized.

The Essex DA's Office says they believe there is no threat to the public, and the matter is under investigation.
