"Having lived in Boston for a couple of years, I had fallen in love with its charm, energy and of course the great food,” said Connie McDonald who co-founded the bakery along with her friend Pam Weekes. “We're overjoyed that we're finally able to bring our treats to Boston and share our cookies with this incredible city."

Guests will also be able to enjoy Levain’s signature layout and when it comes time for warmer weather, there will be outdoor patio seating available right in front of the bakery.

The proceeds from opening day will be donated to Women’s Lunch Place – a local charity and day shelter that supports the developments of self-sustaining skills for women experiencing hunger, homelessness and poverty. Levain will also donate any leftover goods to nearby food banks and organizations.
