Local Eateries Holding Hot Wings Challenge Over Zoom

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Two local eateries are teaming up to challenge customers to eat hot wings.

Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company in Framingham and Brato Brewhouse in Brighton are holding “Virtual Hell Night” on Jan. 21 at 6 p.m.

“We were trying to find ways to stay engaged with our customers and have some fun while doing it,” Kelsey Roth, the owner of Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company, said.

Participants are given a takeout box filled with six tiers of increasingly hot wings and everyone eats them together over Zoom.

“I think the hardest is the fifth sauce knowing that I have one more to go that’s going to be even hotter,” Brato owner Jonathan Gilman said.

The kit comes with 12 wings, six sauces, beer cheese mac and cheese, and either blue cheese or dill pickle ranch dipping sauce.

The deadline for ordering a kit is Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. Takeout boxes can be picked up after 2 p.m. on Jan. 21.
