Hingham, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A group of scantily clad senior citizens in Hingham, Mass. are creating a calendar for a good cause.
12 of the women at the Linden Ponds Senior Living Community posed as models for the “Lovely Ladies of Linden Ponds” calendar. Their goal is to promote body positivity, the beauty of aging and to raise money for the resident care fund.
WBZ’s Kim Tunnicliffe spoke to some of the models for this year’s calendar.
“One of the things that this was really about was about celebrating age while at the same time raising money for a great cause,” said one of the women getting in on the fun.
“This was so much fun. We had a ball,” said another one of the women.
Judy, who also goes by the name “Miss December,” wore bunny ears and a bow tie, holding up a glass of wine behind the bar.
“My grandkids saw it and they said this is going up on my dorm wall,” said Judy.
“I think it says do not fear it, be brave, have courage. We know what we’re doing and a lot of the young’uns have no clue,” said Miss February.
