LOWELL, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police in Lowell are investigating after a stabbing left a man bleeding and begging for help in a 7-Eleven.
The victim, 47-year-old man, collapsed inside the convenience store on Bridge Street around 11:30 p.m. Monday, begging for help.
The man had walked there from Bridge and Fourth Streets, where the stabbing happened.
His condition is not yet known, but Lowell Police said in a release that he has undergone surgery after being airlifted to a Boston-area hospital.
No arrests have yet been made. Lowell Police and the Middlesex DA's office are investigating, and have asked the public to contact Lowell PD at 978-937-3200 or their Criminal Investigation Division at 978-674-4501 with any information.
