Lynn Man Arrested In Tewksbury On Drug Charges

TEWKSBURY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Tewksbury Police Department says it has arrested a man for cocaine trafficking.

Police said they arrested Joseph Yves Frejuste, 31 of Lynn, on Friday. An undercover deputy from the Middlesex Country Sheriff's Office posed as a buyer and allegedly purchased $80 of cocaine off of Frejuste near 1665 Andover St., a Wendy's restaurant.

Police said they found more than 22 grams of cocaine and around two pounds of marijuana after a search of the man's car. He was arrested at the scene and charged with cocaine trafficking, possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of a Class B substance.

Frejuste is being held on $75,000 bail, and is set to be arraigned in Lowell District Court on Monday.
