Lynn Police Responding To Recent Robberies Of Food Delivery Drivers

LYNN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Lynn Police Department has been investigating five recent robberies of food delivery drivers in the past two weeks.  

According to police, the robberies have occurred in the Keaney Park area of East Lynn.  

Police have asked residents with home security cameras to check and see if the devices are working properly to capture evidence that may be valuable in the future to authorities.

Lynn Police are warning delivery drivers to be careful in that area of the city. Officials recommend precautionary measures, such as calling back the phone number to verify the order, being aware of the amount of cash you may carry on hand and not parking a car in a remote area.

Police advised residents who notice suspicious activity to call the department at 781-595-2000 and always dial 911 in an emergency.
