BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — LGBTQ entrepreneurs kicked off Pride Month in the Fenway area with the Made with Pride Market Sunday.

The inaugural pop-up bazaar took over Time Out Market at 401 Park with more than 20 local LGBTQ-owned and ally-owned businesses selling all kinds of homemade wares.

Among the vendors was Kate Estrop of Kestrop Studio. The graphic designer and illustrator was fashioning some creature-themed goods.

"It’s kind of like being at a Pride party, but you don’t have to dance and sing around and drink beer," Estrop told WBZ NewsRadio. "It’s a community space, as well as a place you can come and get your Pride merch."

The organizers behind the event were Rachel Gaudet and Anani Ramirez-Gaudet, co-owners of the stationary and sticker shop Planning with a Scorpio.

"Time Out Boston actually reached out to us, so we are a pop-up planning organization and we are also LGBTQ-owned," said Rachel Gaudet. "[A] variety of art prints, stickers, fibrecrafts, jewelry, all of the shenanigans."

"Pride is all year long, it cannot just be condensed to one month," said Scorpio co-owner Anani Ramirez-Gaudet. "But it’s so great to be in these public spaces and be there for people who might not even know about our identities."

The Gaudets said they plan to regularly bring the Pride market back.
