Man Arrested For Attacking Woman At Park Street MBTA Station

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A man was arrested after he attacked a woman at the Park Street station on the Boston Common on Friday, according to the MBTA Transit Police.

According to authorities, Loudon Fruth, 27, started an argument with a group of people at the entrance of the station. Fruth then picked up a woman and tackled her to the ground, landing on top of her.

It was reported that Fruth then chased members of the group. According to the woman and the group, they did not know Fruth and said that his attack was unprovoked.

The incident occurred around 12:40 a.m. An MBTA Transit Police officer stopped the attack and arrested Fruth.
