Man Dies After Falling Under Moving Green Line Trolley At North Station

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A man died after he fell under a moving Green Line trolley early Tuesday morning, according to Transit Police.

The man was trying to catch a Medford/Tufts Green Line Trolley just after midnight Tuesday at the time of the incident. Transit Police said the man missed his chance to board the trolley and kicked the side of the trolley as it departed the station.

Preliminary investigations show the man lost his balance and fell under the moving train as it left the station. Several emergency crews responded to the scene but the man was eventually pronounced dead of injuries sustained in the incident.
