DRACUT, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Dracut Police Department said it is looking into an "apparent road rage" incident on Saturday night.

Police got a call about the confrontation at around 7:15 PM Saturday. Police said a Lowell woman, a New Hampshire man, and their child were driving along Bridge Street when it happened.

The woman said the suspect swerved into the oncoming lane several times, trying to get alongside her car. Then, she told police, the suspect got ahead of her car and slammed on the breaks. The woman said the man driving the other car stopped his car, got out, and shot a gun at her.

None of the people in the woman's car were injured. The victims described the suspect as a young, thin Hispanic male about 5 foot 10 inches tall, in a white tank top and red shorts, driving a light blue Honda CRV. Police haven't yet found the car.

The incident is being investigated by the Dracut Police, who are asking anyone with information to come forward.
