Man Hospitalized After Quincy Road Rage Stabbing

QUINCY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A man was hospitalized with serious injuries after a stabbing in Quincy Thursday, police said.

Quincy Police were called around 1 p.m. to the area of Glover Avenue and Pierce Street for a road rage incident, where they found the victim suffering from stab wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital and underwent surgery.

Police said there was no direct threat to students at the nearby Quincy Catholic Academy. The school's administration was made aware of the incident and directed students away from the crime scene when the school let out.

Glover Avenue and Pierce Street were closed for investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.
