CANTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A man was struck and killed by his own vehicle while stopped on Route 95 over the weekend.
Around 4:10 p.m. on Sunday, Massachusetts State Police responded to a single car accident on Route 95 in Canton - a man had stopped and exited his Ford pickup truck, before being hit and killed by the vehicle.
It's still unclear why the 72-year-old exited his vehicle on the interstate.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
