Man Shot And Killed Outside 7-Eleven In Malden

MALDEN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) – Middlesex District Attorney, Marian Ryan, and Malden Chief of Police, Kevin Molis, have confirmed an ongoing investigation into a fatal shooting.

The shooting happened Saturday night on Salem Street just before 10:00 p.m.

Police say that at approximately 9:40 p.m., a 22-year-old man from Boston was shot in front of the 7-11 convenience store. This came after he had a brief interaction with multiple individuals.

One person opened fire on the victim. He was then taken to an area hospital and later pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made and no other information is available. Anyone with information is asked to contact Malden Police.
