SEEKONK, Mass (WBZ NewsRadio) — The owners of a Seekonk liquor Store are offering a big reward for the return of a very expensive bottle of cognac this week.
It’s not your typical bottle of liquor either. It's a bottle of Remy Martin Louix XIII, worth at least $4000.
Matt Eddy, manager at Chris Gasbarro's Fine Wine and Spirits, says that a man swiped the bottle of cognac from a locked cabinet that had top-shelf liquor on a busy night.
“He crouched down and picked the lock on the case upfront,” Eddy said
It was all captured on surveillance video.
The man pocketed the cognac, bought something else in the store, paid for that and left.
The store is offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest.
