RAYNHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Massachusetts State Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash on Route 495 southbound in Raynham that left one unidentified male victim dead.
The crash occurred at approximately 1 a.m. Friday morning when a vehicle traveling southbound struck a deer and became disabled.
A second vehicle pulled over to help the first motorist, but when the male occupant of that second vehicle exited his car, he was fatally struck by a third vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the victim remained on scene. No other injuries were reported.
No names have been released and no other information is available at this time.
