MANCHESTER, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — One man from Manchester, New Hampshire was apparently arrested twice in the same day for two separate incidents on Saturday, according to police.

The first incident took place at around 11:15 a.m. that day when Manchester Police responded to an assault reported on Concord Street. Upon arrival, officers say they found that two men had gotten into "a physical altercation," where one man had struck the other in the head with a glass bottle, injuring him.

The conclusion of that incident led to the arrest of 37-year-old Rocky Garcia of Manchester on one count of Second-Degree Assault. Police say Garcia was released on bail later in the day.

Then, just before 7 p.m. on Saturday, Manchester Police were called out to the same address on Concord Street for a reported stabbing. Arriving officers say they came upon two men fighting and recognized one of the individuals to be Garcia.

Though it appeared there was no stabbing, police say Garcia was charged with Simple Assault, Stalking, and Resisting Arrest— and was found to be in violation of his bail from his earlier arrest.
