Manchester Police Make Arrest In Connection With Recent Stabbing

MANCHESTER, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) – Manchester Police has made an arrest in connection with a stabbing that took place earlier this month.

18-year-old Johan Geovanny Rosario of Manchester is facing multiple charges including attempted second degree murder and possession of a controlled gun. This comes after he was identified as the suspect in a stabbing that happened at the end of last week.

On Friday, Manchester Police responded to a call just after 1:00 a.m. at 168 Merrimack Street for a reported stabbing. When they arrived, officers found a 32-year-old female suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Detectives reviewed nearby surveillance footage and were able to match the person in the video to Rosario. They later found Rosario and tried to speak with him before taking off on foot and leading a police chase.

Rosario was eventually taken into custody and is being held without bail pending his arraignment. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
