Many New England Fans Cheering For Tampa Bay This Super Bowl

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Some familiar faces will be on the football field this Super Bowl Sunday, and they seem to have the support of many New England fans.

Despite their recent departure from the Patriots, most local NFL fans seem to be rooting for Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski this Super Bowl Sunday.

Evan from New Hampshire said he's excited for the Big Game tomorrow.

"Of course I am!" he told WBZ NewsRadio. "Who's playing again?!"

That would be the defending champions the Kansas City Chiefs, who are going up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, led by Brady, the former longtime Patriots quarterback.

Like much of Pats nation, Humphries from Boston said he will also be rooting for the Buccaneers this Sunday.

"Brady himself is a king," Humphries said. "And when you're a king, you got soldiers. You can't go wrong."
