FALL RIVER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Borden Light Marina is located near the base of the Braga Bridge in Fall River, Massachusetts. The marina has experienced an influx of calls from boat owners concerned about Tropical Storm Isaias.
Boaters want to get on a waiting list to have their vessels moved into storage in case the storm becomes serious.
Michael Lund is the president of Borden Light Marina. He told WBZ NewsRadio's Kim Tunnicliffe that people asking to have their boats moved are the customers they serve in the winter that are on their own moorings in front of their own homes around Narangansett Bay.
"They want to bring them here and have us either hall them or give them a spot to say," Lunden said.
No one is pulling their boats out just yet.
